ULI Singapore's WLI (Women's Leadership Initiative) is excited to invite you to exclusive dinners with some of the most dynamic and influential women real estate leaders in Singapore. Enjoy dinner and drinks with your peers and two established woman executives open to sharing their insights, professional experience, and personal anecdotes in a casual setting. To help foster an intimate experience, a maximum of 3 ULI women members may attend each of these dinners.

The dinners will be hosted and paid for by these women leaders, as their way of paying it forward to ULI women members. It is also their way of supporting our local F&B sector. Due to limited spaces, we encourage you to register early for one of these dinner sessions. Registration is only open to ULI women members and is non-transferrable.

Hui Min Chan

Director, DP Architects Pte Ltd

Hui Min Chan is a Director and board member at DP Architects. Trained as an architect, her career spans multiple disciplines to include architecture, urban planning and new media design. Her broad design experience formed the foundation for a passion in innovation and advocacy of sustainable design practices. She currently leads the firm’s efforts in design technology research and digital twin adoption. She is a founder of DP Urban, a subsidiary of DP Architects focused on Urban Planning and infrastructure design services. She also spearheaded DP Architects’ business in Turkey and the CIS, leading to the founding of the Turkey branch in 2016. Her notable architecture project credits include Emaar Square in Istanbul, and she is currently working on the urban regeneration of historic Tersanie Istanbul Shipyards on the Golden Horn. Her other key project credits in Singapore include Woods Square, a catalytic commercial development for Woodlands Regional Centre, the Orchard Road Business Study, and the redevelopment masterplan of Alexandra Hospital. Other overseas projects include Seef Lusail, a major waterfront master plan in Qatar and the urban redevelopment master plan of Okmeydani in downtown Istanbul.

Mei Chou

Group Director (Conservation & Urban Design), Urban Redevelopment Authority

Mei is the Group Director for Conservation and Urban Design at the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA), Singapore’s land use planning and conservation authority and is a registered architect with the Board of Architects. Since she joined URA in 2000, she has played a multi-faceted role, integrating land use planning, urban design, conservation and place management. She currently oversees the planning and urban design of the City Centre, including key areas like Orchard Road, Singapore River and Marina Bay. Her role also focusses on the conservation and celebration of Singapore’s built heritage, as well as partnering the community to enliven public spaces and create car-lite, people friendly precincts through place making.

Regina Lim

Head of Capital Markets Research, Southeast Asia, JLL

Regina Lim has over 20 years of experience in real estate research, equity capital markets, government policies. She enjoys inspiring teams, telling great stories, spotting turning points and beating the market. In JLL, she drives thought leadership, client engagement and transaction-related advisory work for the Asia Pacific Capital Markets team. She was Head of Capital Markets Research for Southeast Asia in 2015-2019. Prior to joining JLL in 2015, Regina was the Head of Singapore Equity Research and Head of ASEAN Property at Standard Chartered leading a team of 15 analysts. She has over nine years of experience covering Singapore developers and SREITs in UBS (2006-2010) and Standard Chartered; including equity capital markets experience with the initial public offering of over ten REIT listings. From 1998 to 2006, Ms Lim worked for Singapore's Urban Redevelopment Authority, where she undertook property research, land sales policy and planning policy studies. She specialized in land sale mechanics.

Peck Hong Pang-Eng

Head of SDE, Ngee Ann Polytechnic Singapore

Peck Hong oversees the School of Design & Environment at Ngee Ann Polytechnic. The school offers full time and part-time diploma courses in design and the built environment. Prior to joining Ngee Ann Polytechnic in 2013, she held various positions in Leeden Limited, JTC International, GuocoLand Limited and NTUC INCOME. Her experience spans real estate development, marketing and management both local and overseas. Peck Hong holds a Bachelor of Science in Estate Management and a Master of Science in Real Estate, both from the National University of Singapore.

Mireille Wan

Head of SEA (Corporate Consulting) and Joint APAC Head (Portfolio Strategy), JLL

Mireille is the Head of SEA (Corporate Consulting) involved in projects relating to Workplace Strategy and Change Management where there is an increasing demand for a more agile way of collaborating within the office. Corporate clients embark on this new way of working to optimise the efficient use of real estate; create engaging workplaces to attract and secure the right talent; and implement sustainable workplace change. Mireille is also the Joint APAC Head (Portfolio Strategy) helping corporate clients to match their business goals with their real estate portfolio in order to achieve the desired outcomes. Such outcomes would be optimising the real estate footprint and attendant costs, thereby mitigating risks. Mireille has worked in the real estate markets – both private and public sectors - in Singapore, South East Asia, China and Australia, covering a wide range of property asset classes. The conventional asset classes include luxury residential, prime office and retail; industrial and logistics. Moreover, her coverage of the alternatives sector includes hospitality (hotels and serviced apartments), recreational (cinemas, bowling alleys, theme parks, golf and country clubs, private farms and marinas), education (international school) and medical (private hospitals, medical centres and nursing homes).

Jaelle Ang

CEO & Co-Founder, The Great Room Pte Ltd

Jaelle Ang is the CEO and Co-Founder of The Great Room, a flexible workspace operator launched in 2016. Prior to founding The Great Room, Jaelle was the Head of Real Estate Development at SET-listed Country Group Development Public Company Limited in Thailand driving the development of one of the largest mixed-use developments in Bangkok, consisting of the Four Seasons Hotel, Four Seasons Residences and Capella Hotel. As an ex-banker from Citibank and Credit Suisse, she has experience in corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions covering emerging markets in Asia. She is currently serving on the board of Country Group Development PCL and United Hampshire REIT as the only female director as well as the registered charity, Playeum. Selected for her accomplishments and vision, Jaelle is on the Forbes Asia’s Power Businesswomen list for defying stereotypes and breaking down barriers in the industry. Jaelle has been covered in print and broadcast outlets including The Straits Times, CNBC, Chanel New Asia, Money FM and The Edge; and is a frequent speaker at real estate, technology and design conferences covering topics from flexible working to entrepreneurship. When she was 12, she scribbled what would be on her tombstone “She always played her heart out on the field, taking long shots and braving bruises. She was never on the sidelines." Jaelle holds a BSc in Architecture from Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London and an MBA from Imperial College, London.

Kristin Thorsteinsdottir

Partner, Portman Investment

Kristin is a Partner with Portman Investment Pte. Ltd., a strategic advisory firm for hospitality and early-stage tech start-ups. Prior to joining Portman Investment, Kristin spent over 15 years in hotel & real estate development and advisory in EMEA and APAC with companies such as HVS and the Radisson Hotel Group after cutting her teeth on her family's hospitality business in Iceland. Eight years ago, fate brought her to Singapore, where her latest assignment was to lead development and asset management in APAC for Club Med. Kristin is a recognized industry leader and a regular panellist & speaker at hotel & real estate investment conferences and a member of the Urban Land Institute - Hotel Development Council & Women's Leadership Initiative. Kristin holds an MSc in Hospitality Management from Oxford Brookes University and a degree in Real Estate Management from ICH in Paris.
