They will serve alongside the following current Executive Committee members chaired by Benett Theseira, managing director and head of Asia Pacific, PGIM Real Estate who also serves as one of ULI’s Global Governing Trustee.

“I am really pleased to welcome nine new members to the ULI Singapore Executive Committee, who come from diverse backgrounds in the public and private sectors. This is particularly important as the real estate industry is undergoing significant change, with increasing pressure to decarbonise and for the built environment to better support the building of vibrant and resilient communities. Our new members offer a wide range of experiences and perspectives which will help ULI to continue to make a positive impact on the built environment in Singapore.” – Benett Theseira
ULI has three global mission priorities: decarbonization and net zero; increasing housing attainability; and educating the next generation of diverse leaders. All three priorities will be underpinned by a commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), which recognizes that our communities will be successful and sustainable only if they work for everyone.
Reflective of ULI’s network of interdisciplinary professionals in the built environment sector, the Executive Committee will have a collective responsibility for ULI’s strategy and operations in Singapore. It will review the progress of ULI Singapore’s objectives for shaping the future of the built environment and thought leadership for the industry; membership growth and sponsorship for the financial year; opportunities to expand our impact initiatives; and support for the programs by the Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI), NEXT and Young Leadership Group (YLG) affinity groups.
Today, there are over 600 ULI members based in Singapore. From students to next generation leaders and industry veterans in both the public and private sectors, ULI Singapore’s programs foster the activation of diverse members to collaborate locally and globally; inspiring and applying innovative solutions towards equitable and sustainable land use.
ULI thanks the following leaders who are rolling off the Executive Committee on 30 June 2023.
They have steadfastly led our mission over the years and contributed greatly to the remarkable growth of ULI Singapore especially during our most challenging years. They will continue to be very much a part of our leadership community, supporting ULI on one or more of our regional and global initiatives.
ULI Singapore also wishes to express our sincere gratitude to the many members who volunteer their time and knowledge to our institute. Together, we will continue to shape the future of our built environment for transformative impact in communities worldwide.
