    Magdelene Chua

    Real Estate Partner and Assurance Transformation Leader, PwC

    Magdelene is a Partner with PwC Singapore with over 20 years of professional experience providing assurance and financial advisory services to multinational and listed clients. Her main focus is on the real estate industry and her key clients include real estate developers, real estate investors, funds and hotels. Previously, she has spent four years with the Global Capital Markets Group and M&A team (including two years tour of duty to the London office). Beyond her experience in financial and operational audit, she has accumulated specific experience in corporate governance, financial reporting, investigations, global capital markets, data audits, M&A transactions, post-deal implementation and finance effectiveness. Magdelene is the Assurance Transformation Leader in Singapore and is passionate about upskilling and bringing new technologies and new ways of working to the practice. She is also part of the steering committee in PwC’s Asia Pacific Assurance Technology Committee which coordinates and leads digitalization efforts of the Assurance practice across Asia Pacific. Apart from professional work, she was the founding member/ Co- chair of the Women Leadership Initiative within the Urban Land Institute in Singapore and has served on the Singapore Exco of ULI, the Valuation Committee of ISCA and Best Practices Committee of APREA.

    Hsueh Ling Ng

    Managing Director, Singapore and Chairman, Lendlease Global Commercial Trust Management, Lendlease Asia Holdings Pte Ltd

    Hsueh Ling is responsible for driving the growth of our Singapore business across development, investment management, construction and asset operations. Since March 2018, Hsueh Ling has held the role of Key Executive Officer of Lendlease Retail. In June 2021, Hsueh Ling was appointed Chairman, Lendlease Global Commercial Trust Management (the Manager of SGX mainboard listed Lendlease Global Commercial REIT (LREIT)), where she is instrumental in driving the AUM expansion of LREIT as a key growth platform for Lendlease. Hsueh Ling joined Lendlease as the Managing Director, Singapore and Chief Investment Officer, Asia in August 2017. She has over 28 years of real estate experience across Asia in strategic sourcing, investment and divestment, asset and portfolio management, as well as the development of assets. She also has extensive fund management experience in the areas of real estate fund product creation, deal origination, distribution and structuring of real estate-based financial products. Hsueh Ling joined Lendlease from Keppel REIT Management Limited, where she was the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director for about eight years. In this role, she played an instrumental role in growing the Assets Under Management, opening new markets and leading the team to deliver steady and sustainable returns to Unitholders by proactively optimising, enhancing, realigning and transforming the portfolio. Prior to that, she was the Chief Executive Officer (Korea and Japan) of Ascendas Limited. In this role, she grew the portfolio of private funds across various asset classes across Asia. She has previously held senior positions at CapitaLand Commercial Ltd and CapitaLand Financial Ltd. Hsueh Ling holds a Bachelor of Science, Estate Management from the National University of Singapore and is a licensed appraiser by the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore.

    Khong Shoong Chia

    Group Chief Corporate Officer, Frasers Property Limited

    As Group Chief Corporate Officer, Khong Shoong is responsible for the Group’s Corporate Secretariat and Legal, Sustainability, Corporate Administration and Group Human Resource functions. He also assists Frasers Property’s Group Chief Executive Officer in overseeing the evaluation, execution and implementation of group-wide projects and strategy initiatives as well as the development of the Group’s international businesses. Khong Shoong chairs the Finance Committees of Frasers Property Australia, Frasers Property UK and Frasers Property Industrial. He is also a member of the Group’s Sustainability and Purpose Steering Committee. Khong Shoong was previously the Group Chief Financial Officer and its Chief Executive Officer for Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Prior to joining the Group on 2 March 2009, he held positions as Director, Investment Banking and Global Banking at The Hongkong & Shanghai Banking Corporation Ltd and Vice President, Global Investment Banking at Citigroup / Salomon Smith Barney. Khong Shoong holds a Master of Philosophy (Management Studies) from Cambridge University, United Kingdom and a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) from the University of Western Australia, Australia.

    Simon Treacy

    Chief Executive Officer, Private Equity Real Estate, CapitaLand Investment

    As CEO of Private Equity Real Estate, Simon is responsible for driving the growth of real estate AUM and FUM for CLI’s private equity real estate business. Simon has over 23 years of experience in real estate across USA, Asia, Europe and Latin America. Simon was the Managing Director, Global Chief Investment Officer and Head of U.S. Equity for BlackRock Real Estate; responsible for the overall investment strategy and performance of global real estate portfolios, including real estate funds, investment vehicles and research worldwide. Prior to BlackRock, Simon was co-founder, director and global CEO of MGPA, with real estate funds under management across Europe and Asia of US$14 billion. Prior to taking a career break last year, Simon held the role of President, Hawaii of The Howard Hughes Corporation (HHC) based in USA and directed the master planning, development, construction, sales, marketing, operations and marketing activities of the 60-acre partially built master plan called Ward Village. Simon has experience working and living around the world including Brisbane, Sydney, Singapore, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Shanghai, Honolulu and New York City.
