PGIM Real Estate has been ranked #2 on the 2022 LinkedIn Top Companies List in Real Estate in the US, assessed based on seven pillars that have been shown to lead to career progression: ability to advance; skills growth; company stability; external opportunity; company affinity; gender diversity; and educational background.
Its top ranking comes as no surprise to the Urban Land Institute (ULI) as PGIM Real Estate has been at the forefront in providing a workplace of growth opportunities for its employees including its interns.
PGIM Real Estate is the first ULI Asia Pacific Corporate Partner to fund ULI student memberships for their interns so that these talents would have access to current and trending industry insights; networking opportunities with peers and professionals from our multi-disciplinary network; and direct access to industry leaders for guidance about career progression; future-proofing skills to develop and ways to create an impact for the community.
When these interns join ULI, they are part of a global community of over 46,000 members who are joined in the mission to shape the future of the built environment for transformative impact in communities worldwide. It points to the company’s authentic dedication to be a good corporate citizen – going above and beyond to encourage and develop an inclusive and globally minded talent pool with community lens.
“Our commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace and providing meaningful learning and growth opportunities for our employees and interns is core to our ability to attract and retain top talent. We believe that giving our interns access to valuable industry communities like the ULI supports their development.”
Benett Theseira, Head of Asia Pacific, PGIM Real Estate
ULI membership fee for students is highly subsidized at 75% off the standard fees to ensure its affordability for them at USD10 per month. It is therefore not a costly initiative for PGIM Real Estate yet the returns from its small and thoughtful initiative will amount to a far greater value for our community and the industry.
“Student members are a key part of the ULI community as they are potential future leaders who will shape our built environment and influence the development of our communities over the longer term. By getting exposure to senior industry leaders at an early age they can learn from the experience of others and develop their careers.”
David Faulkner, President, ULI Asia Pacific
